Celebrate United Nations Day in Edmonton on October 23! This year’s celebration will include Kim Trynacity of CBC as Master of Ceremonies, the raising of the United Nations flag by members of the Canadian Association of Veterans in Peacekeeping and the popular release of white doves. There will also be entertainment and light refreshments will be served. Helping us celebrate the United Nation’s 70th anniversary, our keynote speaker is Douglas Roche, an acclaimed Canadian author and former Chairman of the United Nations Disarmament Committee. We encourage all members of the university and Edmonton community to join us in celebration of the founding of the United Nations on October 24th, 1945.

Our meetings are free and always open to the public. Invite your friends!
