Lecture and speaker information

This lecture will explore the complex issues related to sexual exploitation/trafficking and sexualized consumerism. Ms. Quinn will talk about local, national and global initiatives and strategies, and engage participants in looking at this issue through a human rights lens, a legal lens, a social justice lens and others to gain insights and possible paths forward.

Kathleen Quinn was challenged to get involved when she saw children and adults being exploited in Edmonton’s communities. She describes her work as “an incredible learning experience about how working together can bring positive transformation for individuals, families and communities impacted by sexual exploitation/trafficking and social inequality.”

Our meetings are free and always open to the public. Invite your friends!
