Lecture and Speaker information

Arthur Adamson was born in England. He became a cadet with Birmingham City Police in 1964 and constable in 1966. Adamson immigrated to Canada in 1970 where he served as sergeant with the Edmonton Police Service. In February 2000, Adamson volunteered his service to the United Nations in Kosovo, where he worked as a Peacekeeper for almost a year. During this time, Adamson gained a profound understanding about policing an unruly Nation. Although Adamson retired in 2005, he remains active in the Canadian Association of Veterans in United Nations Peacekeeping (CAVUNP). The topics Adamson focuses on are centred around his experience in the formerly divided city of Kosovo, which apply to current global affairs.

Our meetings are free and always open to the public. Invite your friends!
